Math Mondays is a free, Glover family-run program on Mondays from 8:00 am to 8:45 am in Glover's library.
Math Mondays is open to Glover students in grades K to 5 starting September 30 and running through June 16. Children in grades K-1 will be introduced to word-based math problems using Bedtime Math. In addition to strengthening logical thinking skills and thinking about numbers in creative ways, children in grades 2-5 will be exposed to competition-level questions sourced from Continental Mathematics League (CML), Math Kangaroo, and more.
Glover Elementary School will be a Math Kangaroo testing site this spring, and children in grades 1 to 5 are welcome to participate in the annual worldwide competition. And, children in grades 2 to 5 can participate in CML meets, which will start later in the fall.
